Colin Connor Elected Board Vice President of the Mapleton-Fall Creek Development Corporation

Colin Connor, an associate at Plews Shadley Racher & Braun LLP, was elected vice president of the board of directors of the Mapleton-Fall Creek Development Corporation (MFCDC) for 2015. The MFCDC is a non-profit organization that assists with rebuilding and revitalizing the inner-city Mapleton-Fall Creek neighborhood. Colin served on the housing committee from 2011-2014, served as its chair from 2013-2014, and has served on the board since 2013. Colin is a resident of Mapleton-Fall Creek, grew up in the neighborhood, and cares deeply about its success.

Colin helps clients with litigation and appellate work in the areas of environmental litigation, insurance coverage, health care, and construction law.  He received his B.A. degree, with high distinction, in Spanish and Political Science from Indiana University-Bloomington in 2005 and his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Bloomington in 2009.  Colin has been named a member of the Indiana State Bar Association’s Leadership Development Academy, the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Bar Leader Series, and a Rising Star by Indiana Super Lawyers three times for insurance coverage.  He also serves as the treasurer of the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Environmental Law Section.
