George Plews to Co-chair WFYI Capital Campaign

George Plews, one of the founding partners of Plews Shadley Racher & Braun LLP, has been named co-chairman of the WFYI capital campaign “Amplify the Voices.”  Mike Evans, CEO of AIT Labs is the other co-chairman.  Together Mr. Plews and Mr. Evans have the challenge of leading the efforts to raise around $5 million dollars over the course of the next year.

Mr. Plews is a board member for both the WFYI Foundation, and on a national level, for the NPR Foundation. His commitment to public media will serve him well as he works to engage corporate and individual donors to achieve the fundraising goal.

George Plews practices in environmental, insurance coverage and other complex litigation.  He received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Princeton University, his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School and an Honors B.A. and M.A. degree from Oxford University.  Mr. Plews has written a number of articles and book chapters on environmental, insurance coverage and litigation topics.  He has been selected for both The Best Lawyers in America and Indiana Super Lawyers.
