George Plews, one of the founding partners of Plews Shadley Racher & Braun LLP, has been named co-chairman of the WFYI capital campaign “Amplify the Voices.” Mike Evans, CEO of AIT Labs is the other co-chairman. Together Mr. Plews and Mr. Evans have the challenge of leading the efforts to raise around $5 million dollars over the course of the next year.
Mr. Plews is a board member for both the WFYI Foundation, and on a national level, for the NPR Foundation. His commitment to public media will serve him well as he works to engage corporate and individual donors to achieve the fundraising goal.

He received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Princeton University, his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School and an Honors B.A. and M.A. degree from Oxford University.
