Plews Shadley Racher & Braun LLP (PSRB) is pleased to be a Leadership Circle sponsor of Solar United Neighbors’ (SUN) crowdfunded campaign to help 20 low and moderate-income Indianapolis homeowners obtain rooftop solar systems at no cost to them. The campaign is in partnership with the City of Indianapolis – Office of Sustainability and part of the Bloomberg Philanthropies American Cities Climate Challenge.
The neighbors being served by this project have all had their income status verified by the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership. Energy bills make up a larger portion of monthly budgets for low-income families compared to higher income households. Saving money each month with rooftop solar systems will have a huge impact on these families’ lives. Also, each additional solar panel installed in our community means more clean, renewable energy.
PSRB is proud to support SUN because it shares PSRB’s values of encouraging responsible environmental stewardship and sustainability while simultaneously helping local neighborhoods.
