Ali Sylvia Receives IndyCREW’s Donna M. Hovey Award
Ali Sylvia was honored with IndyCREW’s Donna M. Hovey Award on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at the December Holiday Networking Event. IndyCREW is an affiliated chapter of CREW Network (Commercial Real Estate Women), which has more than 9,000 commercial real estate professionals, including over 180 members locally. Established in 2002, the Donna M. Hovey Award is intended to honor and recognize one IndyCREW member annually that best exemplifies the following traits that Ms. Hovey demonstrated in spearheading the establishment of IndyCREW – vision, dedication to maintaining and improving the organization of IndyCREW, and enthusiasm for the commercial real estate professional. Sylvia has been an active member of IndyCREW, serving on the Board of Directors and most recently serving as the 2015 IndyCREW President. Sylvia helped launch IndyCREW’s mentor-match and UCREW programs.
Sylvia chairs PSRB’s Real Estate Group and focuses her practice on real estate and other business transactions, environmental counseling, health care/life sciences, and business services. She represents clients in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of various retail, office and other commercial/ industrial properties. Sylvia also represents various banks and lending institutions and borrowers in the financing of real estate and other business transactions. Sylvia’s clients also include gasoline station and convenience store owners and/or operators and franchisees, dentists, restaurateurs, and other family owned businesses.
