|
Tonya J. Bond practices in the area of complex litigation, focusing on insurance recovery. Tonya has been successful in obtaining coverage for unusual claims, including securing coverage for the cleanup of methamphetamine operations. She also has recovered attorney fees against an adversary for failure to comply with Indiana’s alternative dispute resolution rules—another difficult claim to win. In addition to litigation, Tonya practices appellate work at both the state and federal level.
Before joining the firm, Tonya was an associate at Ice Miller. The Indiana Lawyer (published by the Indiana Business Journal) named Tonya as a 2009 “Up and Coming Lawyer.” She received her B.A. degree from Indiana University-Indianapolis in 2000 and her J.D. from Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis in 2004. In 2004, the Supreme Court of Indiana appointed Tonya to the Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program (JLAP) Board where she continues to serve. Among other community activities, Tonya has served as a volunteer and Board Member of Child Advocates, Inc.
