Anastasia initially joined PSRB as a law clerk and summer associate before transitioning to her full-time legal role. She earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where she also completed a graduate certificate in Civil and Human Rights. Demonstrating a deep commitment to community advocacy, Anastasia completed over 200 hours of pro bono service during law school, earning the prestigious Norman Lefstein Gold Level Award of Excellence. Before entering the legal profession, Anastasia dedicated her time to the local community as a public school teacher in Indianapolis.
