 The
firm has significant experience in defending and prosecuting
product liability claims. We represent some of the country's largest
manufacturers of medical devices as well as a major construction
and industrial equipment maker in litigation throughout Indiana. We
are engaged in the defense of a number of asbestos related product
liability claims. As part of our personal injury practice, we
also have represented plaintiffs pursuing liability claims concerning
tainted blood products.
In addition to its current work, some of our
attorneys have spent significant portions of their careers practicing
in the area of products litigation, particularly in defending
major national and international pharmaceutical products liability
cases.
These
representations have resulted in significant appellate decisions
in product liability law. For example, we represented
a family that had suffered a death and multiple injuries from
a natural gas explosion. The case resulted in two important
