We depend on the collective expertise
and abilities of our attorneys, paralegals and staff to deliver the
best environmental and other legal counsel and to maintain high professional
standards. To that end, we are always interested in attracting talented
and capable individuals to our firm. Our employees come from many
geographical, social and cultural backgrounds and offer a wealth of
talents, interests and perspectives. In a typical year, we hire several
legal and administrative professionals.
We are looking for lawyers with strong academic credentials, communication
skills, common sense, creativity and the understanding needed to solve
complex legal problems. A disproportionate number of the attorneys
we recruit also graduated from top law schools at or near the head
of their classes. We hire new associates, as well as experienced attorneys
interested in expanding their environmental law practices. We also
have a summer associate program, which provides
law students with an excellent opportunity to experience the daily
workings of a dynamic law practice. In addition, our attorneys are
assisted by a number of able paralegals.

As our firm grows, we often are in search of experienced and motivated
legal secretaries and administrative assistants to help our legal

Our firm also employs several part-time and full-time messengers,
usually (but not always) undergraduates at local universities who
are interested in the practice of law. These individuals provide a
