P. Kevin Thompson is of counsel to Plews Shadley Racher & Braun LLP and President of Insurance and Risk Management Services, LLC (“IRMS”), an affiliate of the firm.  Prior to joining the firm, Kevin served as director of corporate risk management for Eli Lilly & Company. Kevin’s experience prior to Lilly included risk management responsibilities for Mayflower Group, Inc., a global transportation company; chief financial officer and treasurer for Monroe Guaranty Insurance Company; and financial analyst responsibilities for Chrysler Corporation.  Through IRMS Kevin consults with clients on a variety of property and casualty insurance related issues, making recommendations to improve or otherwise enhance the property and casualty insurance coverage for his clients. Kevin also serves as an arbitrator in complex insurance disputes and is a certified ARIAS-US Arbitrator. Kevin frequently speaks to various professional groups and trade associations on property and casualty insurance matters. Kevin received his undergraduate and M.B.A. degrees from Indiana University, Bloomington, and his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law- Indianapolis.
