Katherine E. Taylor focuses her practice on litigation and appellate work in the areas of employment law and complex commercial litigation.  Kate advises and represents businesses and individual clients in a broad range of litigation and employment law matters including discrimination claims, ADA and FMLA compliance, covenants not to compete, trade secret cases, wage and contract disputes, and other federal and state law claims. Kate also assists clients with employment agreements, severance agreements, personnel policies and procedures, and employee handbooks.  Kate is a frequent speaker on employment law issues at continuing legal education seminars.  Prior to joining the firm, Kate was an associate at McMains Lapointe P.C.  She received her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Anderson University in 1996 and her J.D., cum laude, from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas in 2000.
