The article describes a class action settlement obtained by attorney Donna Marron in a construction defect action against a major homebuilder. The action alleged the homebuilder failed to include a proper moisture barrier within the exterior brick walls of a number of these homes. This allowed water to collect within the exterior walls, which allowed mold and mildew to develop.
